Link Lockers
Published:  15 May, 2007

The tradition of success on the river that is enjoyed by pupils of Latymer Upper School in London has now been enhanced by the latest installation at the site by Link Lockers. The new facility, at the famous school’s riverside boathouse, provides personal storage for staff and pupils as part of a major refurbishment at the premises on the banks of the Thames.

Building upon a long association between the school and Link Lockers, this latest installation is centred on four separate changing areas – one each for both male and female staff and pupils. Single compartment, full height lockers are located around the perimeter walls of each changing area, each raised to fit behind fixed benches, also supplied by the company. This arrangement offers a number of significant advantages according to Link Lockers’ Marketing Manager, Phil Jackson.

Apart from the four changing areas, a further run of lockers has also been installed in an adjacent corridor to act, effectively, as an overspill storage facility – giving approximately 150 compartments in total. In all cases, standard Link Lockers designs are used each of which can be securely locked by key operation – keys are assigned to pupils and staff on a daily basis as required.

The latest installation at the famous west London school follows on from a number of facilities installed in recent years by Link Lockers. These include installations adjacent to classrooms and in key corridors within the school complex.
