The classroom of the future is here today
Published:  10 December, 2009

The classroom of the future is here today and visitors to BETT 2010 will be able to experience it first hand on stand S42. Crestron, the market leading manufacturer of advanced control and automation solutions, will be showcasing its range of control solutions in a classroom environment and will be demonstrating how a unique collaboration with Texas Instruments is taking projector functionality to impressive new levels.

Vistors to the stand will find out why universities up and down the country are embracing Crestron technology to control, automate, monitor and manage their classrooms, laboratories, conference rooms and auditoriums. Discover how Crestron and Texas Instruments have joined efforts to further interactivity by directly connecting and controlling DLP projectors via Crestron’s exclusive RoomView® Express software. The latest projectors built on DLP technology offer standard Ethernet connectivity, and Crestron RoomView provides the power and flexibility of complete management and control of all projectors remotely and globally on the network. Crestron control is built into DLP projectors to deliver direct network management without a control system or programming.

Also on display will be the unique MPC (Media Presentation Controller) range, a selection of touchpanels, including the TPMC-4SM and the iLux CLSI-C6M, a complete, integrated lighting system.
