Bactokill works very simply. Easily portable its operated by a twin speed motor, air stream passes into a first chamber around a 60w high intensity UV lamp, into a second chamber with a similar lamp arrangement. These two chambers combined with the unit baffles ensure the air is thoroughly mixed but also and most importantly creates a dwell time over the lamps. During this dwell time bacteria and viruses are virtually eliminated with purified air being forced out of the Bactokill into the room being treated. Depending on the size of the area, Bactokill can actually process up to three air passes in one hour. An optional natural oil dispenser can be inserted into the unit to create a pleasant aroma.
