Gulliver's attraction makes ideal school trip
Published:  08 July, 2009

Gulliver's Dinosaur and Farm Park is the ideal venue for school trips. Aimed at children aged 2-13, Dinosaur and Farm Park is situated next to Gulliver's Land theme park, Milton Keynes. Farm Park provides children with a fascinating insight into farming and where food comes from, as they are invited to feed animals, plant seeds, dig up vegetables and see crops grow.

Dinosaur Park lets children dig for fossils and identify dinosaur models lurking in the trees. Activities are designed to help pupils understand more about dinosaurs, evolution and the prehistoric world.

Visits to Dinosaur and Farm Park can be incorporated into the National Curriculum, from foundation up to key stage 2. An education section on the Gulliver's website, www.gulliversfun.co.uk, provides packs with activity sheets for teachers organising a visit, plus information to help teachers complete risk assessments and plan trips. Written by a teacher, the information is designed to ensure Gulliver's trips meet realistic teacher requirements.
