Sutton Coldfield and Matthew Boulton Colleges have appointed Carillion IT Services as their new IT managed service provider. The ICT outsourcing contract will see Carillion IT Services, which alongside Carillion plc is working to deliver educational transformation through the government's Building Schools for the Future programme, uniting both colleges' existing IT systems to create one new single IT infrastructure to support their 1600 staff and more than 22,000 students.
Clive Hill, Executive Director of IT and Estates of Sutton Coldfield and Matthew Boulton Colleges, said: "Through this contract with Carillion a service will be developed that will not only support us through a period of significant change and development, but more crucially, will deliver a more flexible, modern learning environment for staff and students alike."
