The volumetric building units were clad off-site in 600 sq m of Bauclad high pressure laminate panels, supplied by CEP Claddings within an exceptionally fast construction timetable. The entire project was delivered, fully finished, to site within less than 8 weeks of the school placing the order.
A fresh and eye-catching façade was created using two contrasting shades of bold, blue Bauclad. "The design gives the feel of a more permanent building than the usual modular type," commented Mags Greaves, Sales Manager for Integra.
The choice of Bauclad was more than purely aesthetic. The panels were specified by the customer to provide a vandal resistant finish tough enough to withstand strong impacts, abrasion and graffiti. Bauclad's decorative finish also has excellent ultra-violet stability.
