The building units were clad off-site in Bauclad high pressure laminate panels, supplied by CEP Claddings. The entire project was delivered, fully finished, to site within less than 8 weeks of the school placing the order.
The choice of Bauclad was more than purely aesthetic however. The panels were specified by the customer to provide a vandal resistant finish. Although very lightweight, 6 mm Bauclad panels are tough enough to withstand strong impacts, abrasion and graffiti, while its decorative finish has excellent ultra-violet stability so it will not fade or discolour in strong sunlight.
CEP Claddings provided the ideal solution for Integra working within the school environment. Its cladding products have been used to produce some stunning educational buildings - from fun and funky primary schools to sophisticated facades for new academies. Available in almost any colour and in standard, wood grain, metallic and creative finishes, CEP products are very versatile, low maintenance and hardwearing, thus proving more cost effective than natural stone, wood or metal.
