Weatherite breathes fresh air into school kitchen
Published:  16 April, 2009

Weatherite Building Services has installed a new kitchen ventilation system at the newly built Shortwood Primary School in Wellington, Telford.

Eric Neville Catering Supplies Ltd awarded Weatherite the project as part of the construction process of the new school building by Telford and Wrekin Council. Shortwood Primary School is an amalgamation of the former Barn Farm Infant and Ercall Junior Schools.

This contract follows Weatherite's success in carrying out similar work at Stirchley Primary School in Telford.

Weatherite's work included installing a wall mounted kitchen ventilation canopy, dishwasher extract system, supply and extract ductwork system and fans.

Mark Woodward, Sales/Applications Engineer, Weatherite, commented: "Over the years we have built up a good relationship with Eric Neville

Catering Supplies Ltd so it was great news that we were awarded this contract to install a kitchen ventilation system in a brand new school.

"We succeeded in working to tight deadlines ensuring that everything was completed in time for the new school building to open in September after the school summer holidays."
