Early years vouchers

Early Years Vouchers Ltd, one of the UK's leading childcare allowance organisations, has noticed a significant shortfall in the number of teachers signing up to Tax- and N.I-free vouchers. Although teachers were originally the only profession to be exempt from sacrificing part of their salary for childcare vouchers this legislation was reversed in June 2006.
This points towards a significant lack of knowledge and confusion about what benefits those within the industry are legally entitled to. Any teacher who has a child up to the age of 15-years-old is entitled to save Tax and National Insurance on the first £55 of their salary each week - which can add up to almost £2,400 per year, per family.
