System set to transform education
Published:  25 March, 2009

The new infrared wireless microphone system from Panasonic will transform educational establishments. Allowing teachers to be heard from the front to the very back of a classroom, the system is a voice amplification system using infrared technology. The system is aimed at promoting an improved quality in the teaching environment and especially provides solutions for students' learning issues such as concentration and listening in class.

With easy set-up, the system includes a wearable pendant microphone, handheld wireless microphone, infrared sensor, amplifier and ceiling speakers and an Infrared Wireless Powered Speaker incorporating a 2ch infrared receiver, infrared sensor, amplifier and speaker all in one compact unit.

The system, which provides equal and clear spreading of the sound, gives the speaker total sound control and freedom of movement. It enables clear listening from every location in the classroom giving ‘front row advantage' for every student in the room, this consequently gives a more concentrated learning environment for students and reduces fatigue and voice strain for teachers.

Due to its use of infrared technology there is no interference from microphones in adjoining classrooms when used simultaneously, the same microphone can be used on the same channel throughout the day across the campus and additionally it eliminates the need for messy cables like traditional microphones.

The Panasonic infrared wireless microphone system is a simple and effective solution to this. When using the microphone with the compact, portable all-in-one speaker all that is required is to switch on the two products, no need to use wires or mains electric, and then start reaping the benefits for teachers and students alike.
