Seafood range expanded

3G Food Service and Seafood Solutions, distributor of chilled and frozen foods to the food service sector, has added over 100 new chilled and frozen fish and seafood products to its Seafood Solutions range. The new chilled products on offer include Loch-reared Sea Water Trout, Large Halibut Fillets, Pollock Supreme and Pollock Fillets, Hake Steaks, Red Tilapia, Red Snapper Fillets, Nile Perch, Basa Fillets and a range of premium Smoked Scottish Salmon from Bleiker's Smokehouse. The new frozen products on offer include Salmon Supremes, King Prawn Skewers, Jumbo Battered King Prawns and Whole Cooked Lobster.

For example, fresh water fish such as Red Tilapia and Nile Perch are not currently widely used in the UK, so are the ideal exotic fishes for use on specials boards. Whilst exotic species often come from tropical climates, many species are also sustainably farmed in the UK resulting in beautifully fresh fish with consistent availability."
