MP praises new course for teenagers.
Published:  16 December, 2008

Labour MP Yvette Cooper recently attended the FranklinCovey WOW event at Leeds United football ground where she, joined by over 250 students from Castleford High School Technology and Sports College, took part in an exciting introduction to FranklinCovey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers programme.

The WOW event brought The 7 Habits course material to life for the students. They were challenged to consider their values and what matters to them most, as well as the way in which they respond to others.

14 teachers at Castleford High are now accredited to deliver the programme and the school is rolling it out within their PSHE lessons across the whole of Year 10.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers programme, now a QCA recognised Level 2 qualification in Personal Effectiveness awarded by Qualifications Network, will help students to learn how their attitudes can determine how successful they are in all aspects of their life.

Teachers across the country are now being accredited to deliver this great material through a one day accreditation programme.
