Rednock joins in the fight against Cancer
Published:  10 November, 2008

Rednock School, Gloucestershire has joined a national campaign to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Relief by collecting used ink cartridges. They receive free lined collecting boxes to be filled with used ink and toner cartridges, both from the school and those brought in by pupils.

Rednock Head of IT, Andy Low said "This is a really good scheme. It encourages recycling and also raises our pupils' awareness of the efforts going on to help cancer sufferers. Our boxes are collected free of charge. There is no requirement on us to buy from the organisers, Tonik Ltd although as it happens we do buy our ink cartridges from them.  The scheme is open to all schools and colleges in England and Wales.
