Brookfield High School in Liverpool has been getting In the Pink for the past two years. In October 2006, they organised a staff In the Pink netball match and as it was such a success they held another event in 2007 and are looking forward to raising even more this year!
Head Teacher, Linda Thurlow, said: "Brookfield High School held an In the Pink day during Breast Cancer Awareness month in 2007 and raised £607 for this worthwhile cause. Pupils held a non uniform day, cakes and biscuits were on sale and Rose Pendleton, our Welfare Assistant, gave up many hours of her own time to make and sell items on her pink stall and hold a raffle. We are very thankful for everyone's hard work, well done!"
