The site is now able to provide increased functionality to the end consumers, the schools that are its customers and also in the back office. The investment will also enhance stock control enabling YSU to handle up to 100,000 different SKUs and significantly improve analysis, all of which will take the business to the next level.
The new site offers schools the opportunity to better manage their own ‘microsite' within the parent site. They are able to control exactly what their pupils and parents are able to purchase and set their own selling price for logoed uniform. Schools are also able to analyse their own sales in much more detail giving them a much greater understanding of what their pupils require.
All schools signing up is automatically given their own Account Manager, who can handhold them through the initial set up process and personally look after any matters relating to their school. This significantly reduces the amount of input required from the school.
