Helping teachers bring subjects to life
Published:  01 February, 2007

Good to See helps teachers bring their subjects to life with "off the peg" itineraries at many UK cities. In addition to London, York, Stratford and Birmingham, Good To See has added Brighton, Manchester and Edinburgh as centres for educational visits, which, with the right itinerary, can help give students a much greater interest in and understanding of the subject.

For example, Stratford-upon-Avon offers performances by the RSC, various Shakespeare properties, drama/poetry workshops and a trip on the river providing a unique stimulus for an English or Drama class. Or York, with its Castle and National Railway Museums, Jorvik Viking Centre, private Ghost Walks, etc, while London can provide a full itinerary for Art, Drama, English, History, Music and, of course, Politics.

The company, organisers of school tours for over 20 years, also creates unique packages to a specific theme and budget. Quotations are free and one teacher goes free with every 10 students.

Good to See recently began opening from 8:15am (to 5:00pm), helps with Risk Assessment, offers free exploratory visits for teachers, destinations beyond the UK and is fully ABTA bonded.
