"The IN1100 series provides professionals with a travel-friendly solution for meetings and presentations," said David Woolf, InFocus' Vice President of Global Marketing. "Lightweight, compact, simple set-up and low maintenance make the 1100 series ideal for teams looking for a versatile projector."
The IN1100 series boasts crisp, true-to-life colors with DLP® BrilliantColorTM technology and up to 2200 max ANSI lumens, yet weighs just 2.75 lbs. The series also comes equipped with DisplayLinkTM technology, an industry first. DisplayLinkTM makes connecting the projector to the laptop as easy as connecting a USB keyboard or mouse. Instead of a bulky VGA cable, DisplayLink uses a standard mini-USB cable, included with the projector.
Useful features abound. A Timer option, for instance, allows teachers to specify that a test will take a set number of minutes... the projected onscreen timer will indicate when time's up. Specialised presets - Whiteboard, Blackboard or Beige Wall - also make it quick and easy to adapt the projector's output to different environments while Bright/Video/Presentation/User presets permit further tailoring for specific needs.
Also new is the IN5100 series, delivering up to 5000 lumens of illumination for large venue installations. Available in XGA and widescreen W-XGA resolutions, the IN5100 series combines powerful projection with flexible installation options and class-leading connectivity.
One of the key highlights of the IN5100 series is its incorporation of InFocus' new SplitScreenTM technology, allowing presenters the ability to display two different images of SXGA/1080p video side by side.
Additionally, the IN5100 series boasts horizontal and vertical lens shift, as well as four extra lens options to allow it to fit into installations that require short/long throw capability. With 1080p video support and up to U-XGA (max) resolution the series will prove to be a genuine ‘do-it-all' solution.
And at 5000 lumens, the IN5100 series uses a single lamp for lower cost of ownership rather than lesser solutions which have to rely on dual lamps to achieve a similar output.
The IN5100 series also features more flexibility, providing HDMI 1.3 and 5 BNC inputs, along with RS232 and embedded network control (via RJ-45) for easy integration into any existing infrastructure.
